Can't Fail with Kale

If there is kale in your juice, you know you have the mother of all green juices. Kale is one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet. It is a powerful antioxidant and loaded with Vitamins A, K, C, and B6. It has cancer-fighting substances, and it also supports bone health, among other things.

Ok, enough about the benefits of juicing kale. But what about the other ingredients?

Cucumbers add hydration, and apples lower the risk of heart disease. Apples protect the lungs from oxidative damage, which is beneficial for people struggling with asthma.

Lemons are great for improving digestion and can also prevent kidney stones. Lemons lower blood pressure and give a boost to the immune system.

All these ingredients are pretty amazing on their own. But when combined together to make a green juice, you get a jar full of health.

Ingredients

Kale
4 leaves 

Cucumber
1 medium

Apple
1 fruit

Lemon
½ fruit

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Wash all the other ingredients thoroughly under running water.
  2. Discard the core of the apple.
  3. Chop all ingredients into a size that best works for your juicer.
  4. Feed everything into your juicer, alternating between soft and hard ingredients.
  5. Drink and enjoy the benefits.

Notes:

For full benefits, consume immediately or as soon as possible, but within 24 hours.
Store in an airtight glass bottle or jar and refrigerate.
