Can you tell that I love juicing beets? 😍

In fact, both my husband and I love juicing beets and this recipe is one of my husband’s favorites. I just made it for him this morning. It used to be one of my favorites too, until I found out about my apple allergy. Now I swap apples for pears or pineapple.

If you’re new to juicing beets, you might find the taste to be too earthy for you. In that case, use only half a beet. That should do the trick.

Ingredients

Beet
1 medium

Carrots
6 medium

Healthy Juice Recipes - Red Apple

Apple
1 medium

Healthy Juice Recipes - Lime

Lime
1 wedge

Healthy Juice Recipes - Ginger

Ginger
1 thumb-size piece

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Peel the beet and discard the apple core.
  2. Wash all the ingredients thoroughly under running water.
  3. Chop all ingredients into a size that best works for your juicer.
  4. Feed everything into your juicer, alternating between soft and hard ingredients.
  5. Drink and enjoy the benefits.

Notes:

For full benefits, consume immediately or as soon as possible, but within 24 hours.
Store in an airtight glass bottle or jar and refrigerate.
