Grapefruit Glow

I don’t get to juice grapefruits as often as I’d like to. I juice for both my husband and me, and he is not a fan of grapefruits. And I get it because their taste is quite strong and particular.

But I like the taste, and all the health benefits grapefruits bring to the table. For example, grapefruits are great at lowering LDL cholesterol and improving heart health. They even help strengthen and improve our immune system, and these are just a few of the benefits of juicing grapefruit.

Ingredients

Grapefruit
1 medium

Healthy Juice Recipes - Orange

Oranges
2 medium

Celery
5 sticks

Cucumber
1 medium

Healthy Juice Recipes - Ginger

Ginger
1 thumb-size piece

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Peel the grapefruit and oranges.
  2. Wash the celery sticks, cucumber, and ginger thoroughly under running water.
  3. Chop all ingredients into a size that best works for your juicer.
  4. Feed everything into your juicer, alternating between soft and hard ingredients.
  5. Drink and enjoy the benefits.

Notes:

For full benefits, consume immediately or as soon as possible, but within 24 hours.
Store in an airtight glass bottle or jar and refrigerate.
