Mango Beet

Beets are so unique – and you either love them or hate them. Call me crazy, but I love the earthy flavor they give to my juices.

To be completely honest, I’m not sure if I’m able to down a glass of just beet juice. But when mixed with a bit of mango and lime, it’s sooo yummy.

And let’s not forget about the health benefits of juicing beets. They are great at lowering blood pressure levels and they even boost stamina and athletes’ performance.

Raise your hand if you love beets!

Ingredients

Beet
1 medium

Mango
1 medium

Cucumber
1 medium

Carrots
5 medium

Lime
1 fruit

Turmeric
1 thumb-size piece

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Peel the beet.
  2. Peel and pit the mango.
  3. Wash the cucumber, carrots, lime and turmeric thoroughly under running water.
  4. Chop all ingredients into a size that best works for your juicer.
  5. Feed everything into your juicer, alternating between soft and hard ingredients.
  6. Drink and enjoy the benefits.

Notes:

For full benefits, consume immediately or as soon as possible, but within 24 hours.
Store in an airtight glass bottle or jar and refrigerate.
